The CRN exam spans 5 domains: Assess patient and plan care (25% of the exam); Administer, monitor, and evaluate therapeutic interventions (25% of the exam); Teach patient and family/Provide a supportive environment (17% of the exam); Provide a safe environment/Manage emergency situations (25% of the exam); Participate in QA/CQI, interdisciplinary activities, and professional practice activities (8% of the exam). Every practice question on this site is tagged to one of these domains.

The domains are not weighted equally on the exam.
